I suspect the subs may have been having some fun at my expense with that headline ;_; It’s indie as in independently released but definitely NOT indie-R&B in sound (while I’m here, can I just mention how much How To Dress Well needs to cease making music forever), by a few acts with current or former major label contracts. Basically an excuse to talk to and about the people making some of the most amazing music around right now: Dawn Richard, Nina Sky, Miguel, Wynter Gordon.
